For the first time since the beginning of my career, back in 1990, I will have only one new book released this year. But what a book! Look for my new Zebra romantic suspense, SILENT KILLER, a September ’09 release to hit the stands in late August. Readers will share an “old lovers reunited” romance while being given disturbing glimpses inside the mind of a delusional serial killer who, after murdering several clergymen, becomes known as the Fire & Brimstone Killer. The heroine, Cathy Cantrell, is the widow of the first victim and the hero, Jackson Perdue, is the brother of Powell agent, Leah Perdue. Also, readers who have become intrigued by mysterious billionaire, Griff Powell, will see more of Griff, Nic, and their friends in this book. Look for hints of trouble in Griff & Nic’s marriage when Griff’s secret past comes back to haunt him. And readers can expect to see more of this couple in my 2010 novels.

Avon UK will release three of my books this year: COLD HEARTED in January, followed later this year by THE FIFTH VICTIM and SILENT KILLER.
